The Ghosh lab at UT-Austin is interested in the rational design of biomolecules (i.e. antibodies and peptides) and synthetic materials for improved cancer diagnostics and therapeutics. We are primarily focused on engineering novel hybrid bio-materials responsive to the tumor microenvironment to achieve sensitive detection and/or enhanced targeted drug delivery of solid tumors. Leveraging our understanding of cancer biology with materials science, nanotechnology and imaging approaches, our ultimate goal is to design translatable technologies to improve patient outcomes.
